Have you ever brushed against a yucca plant and stepped on a prickly pear? It hurts! Put on your gloves and help make Pinon Campground safer and nicer to camp in. We'll be removing yuccas and cacti that are in the middle of campsites, as well as trimming tree branches that are growing into the road. Meet at the visitor center at 10:00 am for a safety debrief. Lathrop will supply all tools. Bring your own gloves, water, and sunscreen, and dress in layers for changing weather conditions. Registration is required.
