There's a saying about trail work in Eldorado: Every day is leg day. There are two wooden stair sets on the Eldorado Canyon Trail that need your help. They've fallen apart over the years, and have become dangerous. We'll start each day by hauling timbers, hardware, and tools up to the work site. Then we'll build new stairs and pull out the old as we go. The lower stairway will take less timber. The upper stairway will also require a retaining wall - there's a lot of timber to haul up! The upper stairway in particular will require some pretty unique construction to attach stairs and wall members to rock. This will definitely be a project to brag about every time you hike the trail.
