Wildlife Host - Prewitt Reservoir SWA

Join the team at this beautiful state wildlife area! 

Positions are full for the 2025 season but please apply to be considered on a waitlist! 

Responsibilities:

• Assist campers
• Maintain campsites
• Clean bathrooms
• Pick up trash
• Mow parking areas on the property
• Other tasks as assigned

Elevation: 

4088 feet

Pairs, individuals, and people who are still working/in their careers (e.g. working remotely) are welcome to apply. Hosts are permitted to have pets.

Time Commitment:

10-20 hours per week per person, May - September.

Minimum time commitment:

2 months

Desired time commitment:

2-4 months

Volunteer Benefits:

Warm water fishery, wakeless lake, dove/waterfowl hunting with Camp-host sight shoreline.

Amenities:

In exchange for volunteer service, hosts receive a free campsite in a beautiful location! Sewage, Generators, and Propane tanks provided.
