Located on the eastern plains, Jumbo Reservoir State Wildlife Area (SWA) is seeking a Campground Host (individual or pair). Located between the towns of Crook and Sedgwick, Jumbo Reservoir is host to a wide range of outdoor recreation opportunities, including fishing, boating, bird watching, waterskiing, hunting, hiking, nature photography, and much more. The property is 1,703 acres with approximately 100 designated primitive campsites spread out over 4 campgrounds. The water is home to one of the best walleye fisheries in the state and is an excellent place to catch crappie, bluegill, perch, and catfish.

Enjoy great fishing in the reservoir, a new camp host site, work with guidance from great staff, and help give back by helping customers and maintaining standards we set for cleanliness and customer service.
In exchange for volunteer service, hosts receive a free, campsite in a beautiful location! Host site includes: concrete pad, fire pit, storage building, and picnic table. 30 amp electric, sewage, and cell service available, as well as potable water at a nearby location (a vehicle with a tank will be provided to transport water to the campsite).
