Bluebird Monitoring
- Description:
If you have a love for birds then this project is for you! Trained nest box monitors will check for breeding behaviors on a weekly basis and enter the data collected into a national database called NestWatch. This is a great project for new birders and no prior experience is needed.
- Time Commitment:
Weekly monitoring with a seasonal commitment from March-August. Adopt a single route on your own, or team members will rotate every 2-3 weeks to share the weekly load. Each visit will take approximately 2-3 hours, plus any additional data entry time spent.
