Green mountain meadows, lush aspen groves and pine-covered hills greet you at Golden Gate Canyon State Park, 16 miles northwest of Golden. With more than 12,000 acres of beauty ranging in elevation from 7,600 to 10,400 feet, Golden Gate offers a variety of outdoor recreation opportunities within a one hour drive of the Denver area.
