Description:

Come and enjoy a fun-filled, quiet, and beautiful time at Mancos State Park!

Volunteer Campground Hosts support conservation and recreation through these responsibilities:

  • Collect fees and dispense park information at an entrance station.
  • Act as a campground host greeting campers.
  • Assist in daily campground operations.
  • Clean campsites and bathrooms, and assist with light maintenance.
  • Assist with campground programs.
  • Hosts should be customer service orientated, friendly, become knowledge of area to support guest questions, and capable and willing to clean campsites and restrooms. 

Site elevation:

7,800 ft

We are looking for two hosts for the 2025 season!

Pairs or individuals welcome, and hosts are permitted to have pets (must follow state park rules).

Time Commitment:

20 hours per week per person.

Prefer 3 month minimum commitment during the summer season.

Volunteer Benefits:

Free, full-service campsite provided in exchange for volunteer service. This is a gem of a park! Small size, a positive team environment, and close to many recreational activities in the stunning SW part of Colorado.

Host campsite has full hookups and cell service.
