Special Projects

Description:

These volunteers perform general park support functions (depending on skill and preferences):

• maintenance
• visitor center
• environmental education
• dock/marina store attendant or other responsibilities 

Maintenance includes:

• litter control
• landscaping
• grounds keeping
• cleaning of park facilities.
•  

Visitor center includes:

• pass sales
• revenue collection and dispensation of information

There are also opportunities in Environmental Education which includes:

• development and presentation of environmental programs as well as networking with local entities for guest programs.
