Description:

Volunteer responsibilities for Visitor Center/Office Support may include but are not limited to:

  • Answering phones.
  • Word processing and data entry on the computer.
  • File documents.
  • Perform other clerical tasks.
  • Help to raise funds and write grant proposals.
  • Provide computer training
  • Trouble-shooting or computer program design.
  • Staff a visitor center information desk or sales outlet.
  • Design and prepare exhibits, displays, and bulletin boards.
  • Market and advertise park programs.
  • Write and edit newsletters, brochures, fact sheets, and manuals.
  • Produce artwork or graphic design for publications, signs, flyers, or exhibits.
Time Commitment:

4-8 hour shifts. Training required. Regular availability, with weekends preferred.

People-Person? This role is for you! Greeting incoming visitors can be quite the treat as they head to their campsites, are out for a family stroll, or return to share their pictures of an exciting wildlife sighting!
