Get Involved: Eldorado Canyon State Park - Archery Assistance

Archery Assistance
- Description:
The CPW archery program teaches target archery to members of the public using steps that are safe and encourage success. Archery volunteers support events, clinics and program participants, both youth and adults, using an established curriculum.
Archery events may include structured classes, school programs, and large scale, free-flowing events where participants are only engaged for a few minutes. Volunteers usually work as a team with staff members, and may be eligible to be trained as instructors in the future.
Support this public outreach effort and join our archery team today!
- Time Commitment:
Varies by event, though most will be held April - October. We are looking for a season-long commitment after orientation to ensure we have enough help.
In the future, if the opportunity arises to train volunteers to be instructors, you would need to complete a 6-hour training.
- Volunteer Benefits:
- Keep your archery skills sharp and experience the joy of someone's first bullseye.
- The opportunity to teach skills to 'the next generation' of outdoors people while enjoying a rewarding experience with CPW staff in a beautiful outdoor setting.
- Give back, get ouside, and support CPW staff while earning hours towards volunteer perks!
