Description:

Visitor Center/Office Support volunteer responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Answering phones, word processing and data entry on the computer; file; or perform other clerical tasks.
  • Fundraise and write grant proposals.
  • Provide computer training; trouble-shooting or computer program design.
  • Staff a visitor center information desk or sales outlet. Design and prepare bulletin boards.
  • Market and advertise park programs. Write and edit newsletters, brochures, fact sheets, and manuals.
  • Produce artwork or graphic design for publications, signs, flyers, or exhibits.
  • Train staff or volunteers in desktop publishing software and techniques etc.
Time Commitment:

16 hours per week
