Vacation Volunteer Host

Description:

• Come volunteer for a weekend in exchange for a free campsite! Vacation Volunteers will give back and help keep Eleven Mile beautiful and operating smoothly by providing traffic control and tallying the number of parking spots available for visitors.
• This a new volunteer opportunity occurring only at specified locations. Help us pilot this new program!
• Anyone is welcome to apply (individuals, couples, families, or friends!)
• When you arrive, you will check in at the visitor center and be provided with supplies (e.g. traffic cones, reflective vests, etc.) and be given instructions and directions on what to do. When you finish, return to the visitor center and check out with the ranger - then go play!
• If we observe that the work wasn’t completed according to expectations, we reserve the right to ask you to leave.

Time Commitment:

• Minimum 4 days, 2 hours per day, Thursday - Sunday.  
• Could also do 4 hours per day on Saturday and Sunday but still offer site on Thursday and Friday.
• 2-4 week commitment is ideal but not required.

• Free full hook-up site in the campground in exchange for fulfilling expectations and time commitment.
• No need to go through the campsite reservation system!
